Desi Dance Network Inc. is a non-profit organization which was originally founded on the principle of community building and re-empowering the South Asian community by reconnecting multigenerational South Asian dancers to their roots. DDN Inc. co-hosts and sponsors various national events ranging from dance competitions to conventions and forums.
Introduction
With nearly a decade of history, the organization has recently undergone a re-branding initiative. This project focuses on the website redesign which aims to align the online presence with the new brand identity. This involves updating visual elements, enhancing functionality, and ensuring a user-friendly experience. The revamped website aims to reflect the organization's growth and values, highlighting achievements and milestones.
The website redesign prioritizes user experience by simplifying navigation, minimizing the need for multiple tabs, and introducing personalized features like "My Profile." Additionally, the update enables direct ticket purchases, ensuring a seamless and convenient interaction for visitors. These enhancements reflect a commitment to both aesthetic appeal and improved functionality.

Story and Vision
My redesign is all about building a community where artists from different backgrounds unite to showcase and celebrate South Asian culture. The vision is to make a space that shouts out inclusivity and teamwork. Additionally, the vision is for this online hub to be a fun place where you can explore and appreciate the amazing variety in South Asian art and culture.
