The Bar at 327 Braun Court is a bar that was started in 2011 located in Downtown Ann Arbor. The intention was to be a Third Space, a place that isn’t home, or work. A place without TV, but with great music and lighting where you could meet and talk with friends without the distractions of the outside world.
Introduction
The website redesign project aims to enhance the visual appeal, user experience, and functionality of the Bar at 327 Braun Court website. The redesign involves revamping the site's layout, graphics, navigation, and content presentation to align with current design trends and the owner’s vision.
Some goals of the redesign included:
Creating a fun and easygoing experience for every user.
Emphasis on presenting all the key elements of the business and encouraging users to try new items on our menu. Our purpose as a bar is to offer a unique and enjoyable atmosphere that caters to all tastes and preferences.

Client's Vision
The owner Eric Farrell wanted to create an emphasis on new products such as the pizza’s and ice creams which weren’t a highlight of this bar earlier. He also wanted to re-empasize the purpose of the bar, which is for it be a “third space” for his customers. He wanted their experience to be a homely and comfortable space.

Problem Statement
The current design of the website doesn’t reflect on the purpose of the space, and is very similar compared to other bar websites. We want to show that the bar is a unique space which has a lot to offer other than just drinks. The current design has a heavy emphasis on drinks and events, but we want to shift that focus to the newly curated menu.

New Functionality Implemented
Placed a strong emphasis on understanding and catering to the diverse range of specializations this bar offers: Pizzas, Ice Cream, Specialized Cocktails
Enabling customers to conveniently place orders for pick-up to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Customers are also able to place orders for delivery using third party apps (GrubHub, DoorDash)
Implemented effective cross-selling techniques to optimize user engagement and maximize revenue potential
Incorporated features that allow users to customize their orders while considering dietary restrictions, allergies, and other specific requirements to create an accessible and accomodative experience
